the Bear SG reminds me of my all-time favourite dwarf hamster which grew to the size of a juvenile normal hamster while most looked like furballs, he looked like a deflated furball because he was that fat
elindra SG I can't imagine a dwarf hamster that is as large as a normal hamster I mean can it even run on it's wheel?
the Bear SG run? all he did was eat he was hilarious.. i take him out of the cage to clean the cage, he'll run around the box which i'll put him in temporarily.. i'll toss a couple of seeds in there and he'll start to eat.. mind you.. it's not stuffing the cheekpouch but eating! when the cage is cleaned, and i put him back in there.. first visit is to the food dish... where he stuffs his cheekpouch and then starts to eat cute thing is when he's eating, and you try to drag him away from the food dish, he'll contort his body so that his head is still in the food dish and his front paws are grabbing some food you can sort of try to move him away from the food dish but he'll contort to continue his eating i love that little critter.. all the other hamsters i have ever had did not have his personality and attitude.. oh... he was pretty laid-back too.. the other hamster kept picking on him until one day he retaliated and bit the other hamster, drawing blood.. and this was after a few months of being incessantly harrassed.. by a smaller hamster! Fatty, or FatFat.. RIP in hamster heaven.. he had a good life
the Bear SG he was.. and you can irritate him with a stick and he'll "fight back" by swiping its paws at the stick.. after a while, he'll just turn his back and squint as if "i don't want to play anymore" and if you keep poking him with the stick he'll turn around, eyes still closed as if to say "i'm ignoring you because i'm annoyed with you" cute little fella
tare SG i rem some outings bear did bring a hamster out.. issit fatfat? anw i stayed away frm it.... to me it's still a rodent
the Bear SG no.. that was the late Horatio "Hamster" Hornblower (as named by my sister) Horatio was the very stupid but very sweet-natured hamster
the Bear SG i'm effing going to cry.. i asked for stats.. and somehow i get a pile of stats which doesn't correspond with another pile of stats from the same guy... the bloody paper is already written using the stats and now they are not to be trusted.. argh!!
choco B SG Hehh thanks.... not sure if I can find bonito flavoured shoyu. Will mixing Thai fish sauce with like regular Tai Hua soy sauce yield same results? I'll go have a look around the Kikkoman shelf . Thanks !
elindra SG that is why hamsters r a no no pet to me and I'm hesitating so much on getting a chinchilla
